Hello friend, my name is Conrad Allen and I'm here
to serve you.  The Precinct Chair is a link between
the community and the Democratic Party. If you are
confused about where or when to vote, I'm the
person to ask.  If you need help getting registered to
vote, just give me a
call.  When you want to meet
the local candidates, I'll arrange a coffee or BBQ at
my house.  If you think there should be public
debates or Town Hall Meetings, I'll work to arrange
them.

Is there an issue that is important to you?  I can
make sure your voice is heard  by our democratic
leaders.  Keep your eyes on this website for
information on candidates and issues.

Now is the time to make sure your voter registration
is up to date.  Check it out at the
Harris County Tax
Office
.  Click here to read the rules about voting and
registration
.

Finally, I want to thank my predecessor,
Mrs. Mary
Allen
(no relation), for her years of community
service as Precinct Chair, Election Judge, public school
teacher, and good neighbor. Well done, Mary.

Chris Bell says hello to Precinct 874.
The Democratic Nominee for Governor of
Texas talked about Stem Cell Research,
Education in Texas and more.  This is a
brilliant man with great plans for Texas.  For
the record, Congressman Bell is really a nice
guy.  We chatted for quite a while off camera
about our families, Republicans and
Democrats working together effectively, and
even about the storm that was raging outside.
He was concerned about my drive back to
Spring. It's my honor to endorse Chris Bell for
Governor of Texas.
