Who is Conrad Allen?
Husband, Father, Geologist, Teacher, Soldier, Methodist, Democrat

Conrad is a life long moderate democrat serving as Precinct Chair,
Election Judge, Deputy Voter Registrar, Harris County Democratic
Executive Committee member, Delegate to the Texas Democratic
Convention, and a key advisor on the
Radnofsky for US Senate
Campaign. Secretaries of Energy Richardson and Abraham both
appointed Conrad to terms on the
National Petroleum Council in
Washington D.C. and he served on the Department of Energy’s Natural
Gas Roundtable.  

He is a senior geologist for ExxonMobil Exploration Company in
Houston, Texas and has worked basins around the world.  He earned a
bachelor’s and a master’s degree in geology from Bowling Green and a
master’s in administration from Central Michigan.  He serves on the
Alumni Board of Directors at Bowling Green and is a Distinguished
Graduate of the Geology Department.  Conrad was President of the
National Association of Black Geologists and Geophysicists.  He teaches
geology and geophysics at the
University of Texas at Austin Petroleum
Extension and at the University of Houston Downtown.  

Conrad is a former active duty US Army Officer and he is a member of
the
Klein United Methodist Church.
